Exploring the Exciting World of Hungarian Underwater Rugby

Introduction to Underwater Rugby

Underwater rugby is a dynamic and thrilling sport that combines elements of rugby and swimming, played entirely underwater. Governed by the Confederation Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS), this unique game challenges players’ physical abilities and teamwork, creating an exhilarating experience.

Understanding the Rules of Underwater Rugby

In underwater rugby, two teams compete to score by placing a buoyant ball in the opposing team’s goal, situated at the bottom of the pool. Players wear fins, masks, and snorkels, allowing them to navigate effectively in the aquatic arena. Each match consists of two halves, typically lasting 10 minutes each, with teams trying to outmaneuver their opponents while managing breath and strategy simultaneously.
