The chart above tries to visualize the dominance of Germany, Colombia and the Skandinavien in Underwater Rugby based on CMAS tournaments and Champion’s Cups between 2010 and 2018.
Here’s how the rankings were created:
I’ve gathered the results of CMAS and CC tournaments between 2010 and 2018 then took the highest ranking 5 countries and gave them 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points in descending order. For hosting the event 1 point was given. Adult and junior tournaments were measured separately, however, male and female participation was not. Points gained from (Open) European Championships were multiplied by 2, points gained from World Championships were multiplied by 3.
